WOLDS EXCLUSIVE BLING is a finalist for The prestigious Equestrian Business Awards!

Date 09 August 2024

Wolds Exclusive Bling – WEB, based in North Lincolnshire, is a finalist in The Equestrian Business Awards’ Bit/Bridle Fitter of the Year 2024. This award category was launched this year and standards have been set high by the finalists. This is the fourth year of the awards, which received over 17,000 nominations this year alone, across thousands of businesses and professionals involved with the equestrian industry.

I have always had horses in my life, and was an International Para dressage rider, and have had the pleasure to train many horses and riders.

My aims were to build WEB to be a name on everyone’s lips, and to see my bridles at the Olympics, which I had the pleasure of seeing one of my bridles at the 2016 Olympics.

The Equestrian Business Awards aims to provide an inclusive, national platform so equestrian businesses, professionals and charities no matter what shape or size, receive the recognition for their dedication and hard work that they truly deserve,” states founder, Katy Wright.

Lara says  “After 12 years, I have finally seen my passion for changing and educating the importance of bridles really come to life”

The fit, the bio mechanics and most importantly, the horse’s welfare and not forgetting, the harmony within the partnership, is paramount to who I am and what WEB bridles stand for.

Customer quote:

“ Lara is always there at the end of the phone/message day or night, she really cares” and “We love sharing our successes, and her being part of our team”

The Equestrian Business Awards

The Equestrian Business Awards

The Equestrian Business Awards was launched for the first time in January 2021, after seeing all the hard work that small equestrian businesses, charities and professionals do which went unrecognised. This was even more pertinent throughout the uncertain times caused by the pandemic where the equestrian community has pulled together more than ever. The founder, Katy Wright, wanted to not only “Celebrate equestrian excellence” but to give horse owners, care givers and riders a voice by providing a platform for them to show appreciation and nominate their favourite equestrian businesses and professionals, with 19 different categories to choose from ranging from Riding School of the Year to Equine Therapist of the Year and everything in between. The Equestrian Business Awards also aims to promote and support businesses and professionals regardless of their size or where they are in their journey, from small start ups to sole traders to charities to larger businesses. Previous years have garnered attention across the wider equestrian community, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award has been presented by Clare Balding, HRH Princess Ann writing a letter on congratulations to a previous winner and Paralympian Natasha Baker MBE, joining the 2023 judging team.
